recently i lost my job after 10yrs of loyalty.I had an injury on the job and was unable to work nothing but light duty,which my job didnt have.They looked for any reason at that time to create problems for me.They blocked my unemployment and worksman comp is a battle.so that means no income to care
for myself.Goverment Assistant is a joke!!!!!!!! I have already sold my car and pawn eveything i had
of value.....just to help with my mortgage and utilities.And before i can remotely find work,My doctor
will have to release my work status........which he said would be several more months....if not longer.
I have no parents or siblings i can ask for help.Its awfully said that we have Superpacks for the wrong purposes...What about does that really need monies to live.But i will keep holding on to my
heavenly father's hand.Hopefully someone other than him will hear my cry.

I lost my mom then i was married to abusive deadbeat whom i had 6 children with(almost all done growing up) another woman(thank the lord) took him away & left me alone to raise them. then we lost our best friend, my dad :( we have had alot of heartache & for some reason its been very hard to make ends meet.we are losing our home of 19 yrs. my youngest son has been staying in the basement that was full of mold until we scrub'd it out by hand & now he is very sick from sleeping in a bedroom in lower level.so try ur best T-Love & get ur baby & u far away from it. I have helped many people over the years restructure their debt and suggest house cleaning as a way to earn money. Here is a FEW things that God has done for me, and my family.
1) Paid outstanding bills that I couldn’t pay through church I attended regularly.
2) Healed me of cancer, and other disease’s instant healing, gradual healing, and a word of knowledge heal
3) God delivered me from Satanism
4) God delivered me from drugs. (supernaturally with no side effects from marijuana, cocaine, hash, crack, etc..)
5) God opened up jobs when I had none.
6) God saved me from suicidal tendencies. ( In INTESIVE CARE UNIT FROM DRUG OVERDOSE, AND NOT KNOWING IF I WOULD LIVE OR DIE)
7) God prevented us from being homeless by opening doors for temporary shelter. ( One time we were about to become homeless. We applied for shelter through state. They told us a 1 year waiting list, but God opened the door with in a week.)
8)God gave me hope to live.
9) God made arrangements one year when I lost my job around Christmas. (Someone walked up to my wife at church, and gave my wife a jar with angels on it. She removed the cork, and found $1000.00 cash in it.)
10) God made arrangements for a new car ( That God arranged, and we didn’t have to pay for it.)
11)God arranged money to come in the mail with no return address. ( out of state)
12) God made arrangements to find cash laying on the ground.
That is just scratching the surface to what God has done.
God is NO respecter of persons. What he doe’s for one. He will do for another.
Do you know what the most awesome thing is about this.

My son (13yrs old and one of four children) received an invitation to compete in a karate tournament in Japan. His flight is scheduled to leave on Wednesday. The trip itself is not yet paid for ($1750.00 due tomorrow) and even if I find a way to come up with it, it leaves me nothing to send with him for meals, transportation or other expenses while he is there.

We have exhausted all of our fundraising ideas and have come up short. I have no credit cards, mortgage is paid up (on a house that is falling apart), property taxes are behind 14mths...

Times have been tough for a while but will get better...right now, I just don't want to disappoint my son at the last minute by telling him he can not go on this once in a lifetime trip that he earned.

 in response to Coffeebeans...   Gym memberships can be expensive:). Fortunately, there are many at-home exercises that will keep you fit and trim. Consider wearing some loose fitting clothes and doing simple stretches followed by a nice walk, squats, etc. Take care and God Bless!

Consider creating a budget on paper. A budget will consist of money in and money out:). This will help identify any potential areas to save. In addition, consider consolidation any extra debt into your mortgage if you have room. Mortgage rates are at all time lows. You might save money and lower you bills. Regarding your dog - contact local shelters for service. I know a local shelter that offers vet services at a fraction of the going rate. They typically have a loooooong waiting list but if you can wait, you can save. Take care and God Bless!

I was just thinking of the things my family needs that I as the man of the house hasn't been able to provide recently. I was out of work 6 months last year and finally had to take a job that doesn't meet our financal needs. My wife is deaf and she hasn't been able to find work. So I have 3 kids and too many bills. My check basically goes to utilites and the mortgage.
Our dog has been limping around the past month and don't have money for a vet.
Our car has been limping around recently needing a Catalytic converter and oil change.
I haven't been able to cook much for my family as much of what we have is canned soups
We are in the need of gas money to make it to the next paycheck.

I have a PhD and I am unable to find a job, simply because my was diagnosed with cancer died of while I was doing my PhD and I was taking time off. Therefore, my supervisor always gives me a bad reference, and also has retired. I am living of job seekers which isn't enough as my father passed away last year and I don't have that extra help. Anyway, to get back to the point, find a small job, that will give you even just a small amount of money every week. Even if it's washing someone's car or anything. Cut back on eating out and make food at home, in fact don't eat out anymore. You have clothes so you don't need to buy anymore. Put aside a small amount like $1-5 every week and don't touch it. I'm not sure what value this amount has I work in £s. I know £5 a week would add up £20 a month, which is alright to get me all the groceries etc. Why don't you look for things online like blogging, writing, selling things, or signing up to websites that give you casback for just signing up banks etc. Look around on the intrenet. It is a tough situation, I hope it works out for you mate.

 in response to lostnhopeless...   Hello. College life is typically marked by the cheapest meals you buy (bread, soups, etc.) and odd jobs that pay just enough to get by:). If you parents have cut you off completely, they should not claim you on their taxes. If they claim you, you will loose eligibility for many state assisted funds. If the $300 is on your father's insurance, your father will most likely be responsible for the amount owed (as any parent would be responsible for a small child). Take care and God Bless!

so my parents completely cut me off, i'm in college so its understandable that its time, but i have $300 in doctors bills that need to be paid, if i'm under my dad's insurance is there anyway that if i don't have an income the collection agency would turn to collect it from him? I'm still on their insurance and I'm claimed as a dependent so i'm pretty sure there's no way i can get any help with the government such as food stamps, the other issue is i don't have a car, so getting a job is nearly impossible, even if i get a job, it will be awhile until i can pay off those bills while still affording the cost of living, any suggestions on what i can do?? i'm desperate!

When I mentioned something specialized like legal, I was referring to an attorney:) College has a place and time, but as mentioned networking is just as important if not more so. I heard a recent stat that claimed 52% of all people between the ages of 18-24 are unemployed (this is includes recent college grads:)). Many college students spend lots of money on an education and feel entitled to a good paying job upon graduation. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. In your particular situation, you might consider the military service. The FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. all take kindly to those who have military served. If you are interested in the FBI, consider the Military Policy or anything forensic related. If you do not think a full time career in the military is for you but you would like the benefits of tuition reimbursement, consider a reserve component (National Guard or Reserves).
